When it comes to your precious abode, it doesn’t pay to cut corners when you need work doing you need a professional, experienced team like us who will ensure that the work you need is carried out to the highest standards and with the minimum of fuss and bother.

What is your Covid protocol?

Our contractors wear fresh face-covering – gloves and overshoes to each property – they sanitise their hands before and after leaving each property and have a ready supply of 70% alcohol hand wash where they are not able to wash with soap and water – they follow Archpress strict guidelines to clean down any surface touched before exiting any property as well as ensuring the appropriate 2m distancing rule where applicable – All our contractors are tested on a twice-weekly basis – they are fully compliant with all the latest government guidelines.

When we make a booking with you we also ensure that the members in your household are fit and well and are not showing any signs of Covid 19.

Do I have to provide my own materials?

We will source all the materials for you.

Do I need a quote from you?

If the job is relatively straightforward, our trained office staff will be able to estimate via photographs.

If the job is more complicated, we will arrange a quote for you.

Any tips for making the most of my booking?

It is often helpful if you can provide a photo of the job you need doing in order to help us assess the time it will take and what tools and materials will be required.

Will your tradesman turn up on time?

Our contractors are managed by the office staff and are scheduled the day through the office.

We can also book a one-hour arrival window, so for example, we might say your tradesman will arrive between 10:30 and 11:30. As we all know, getting around London and the Home Counties can be a challenging and unpredictable business. but sometimes road conditions are difficult, so we need this degree of flexibility to avoid disappointing our customers.

Should I feel safe letting your tradesman into my home?

All our staff wear all wear our uniform, are CRB checked and carry I.D. They are all dedicated, skilled tradesmen and know that your custom is important to us!

What happens at the end of the job?

The tradesman will show you the works completed. They will also leave all areas clean and tidy.

The contractor will also ask you to review the works on Check A Trade.

What happens if I am not happy with the work you have done?

Thankfully, this is a rare occurrence, but if it happens, you should call us up and let us know the problem. We will do everything we can to make sure you want to come back to us for your next job.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require 48 hours’ notice if you wish to cancel or reschedule a confirmed booking, otherwise, a late notice charge will apply.
